General Counsel Homeowners Associations

Our attorneys understand the laws that have been developed to deal with the complex legal rights and duties involved in modern Condominium and Community Association ownership.  We effectively analyze and apply the various statutes and related case laws that govern Community Associations, such as the Davis-Stirling Act and the Corporations Code.  We counsel our clients about issues such as disputes between neighbors and make proper disclosures to potential buyers of units in a Community Association development, revise Governing Documents such as CC&Rs and Bylaws, and facilitate voting among unit owners.

Our firm represents clients in both residential and commercial condominiums, as well as single-family home communities.  We also counsel Boards of Directors for Community Associations on issues of Fiduciary Duty and appropriate business judgment in the operations of the day-to-day affairs of a Community Association.
