Joshua D. Johnson
JOSHUA D. JOHNSON was admitted to the California State Bar in 2006 after completing his Juris Doctor at Golden Gate University School of Law that same year. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon in 2003 majoring in psychology and anthropology.
After obtaining his license to practice law, Mr. Johnson specialized in the defense of subcontractors, general contractors and developers and in complex construction defect litigation. In addition to construction defect litigation, Mr. Johnson also practiced in employment law, medical malpractice and general civil litigation. After six years of litigation, Mr. Johnson relocated to the Pacific island nation of Palau where he headed the House of Delegates Legal Counsel’s Office for two years. There, he supervised attorneys and staff, and drafted over 200 bills and resolutions, including a fully comprehensive bankruptcy code, corporate law code, and penal code.
Mr. Johnson practices primarily in the areas of insurance defense, construction, real estate, and business. He is admitted to practice law before all courts of the State of California and in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California.
