Asbestos and Chemical Exposure
The Firm’s members have considerable litigation experience in complex toxic tort and product liability cases and have represented clients in numerous matters that draw upon theories of liability that pertain to design and manufacturing defects, defective warning/labeling and product tampering with products that include automobiles, construction materials, architectural renderings, computers, clothing, industrial chemicals, asbestos, solvents, adhesives and many other consumer goods.
The firm successfully defended its clients in benchmark chemical exposure/cancer litigation involving hundreds of current and former employees who sued IBM and many of its chemical suppliers alleging that their cancers were caused by workplace exposure to chemical agents at IBM’s San Jose and New York manufacturing facilities. This was the first litigation of its kind in the computer/semi-conductor industry.

The Firm’s principals have represented various state agencies and municipalities, fire districts, school districts and sanitary districts throughout California on a broad range of business, real estate, contract, tort and employment litigation matters. We have handled disputes that involve wrongful discharge, breach of contract, construction projects, eminent domain/ condemnation proceedings, labor negotiations and land use litigation, as well as Government Code False Claims Act cases.

The Firm’s principals have litigated numerous real estate matters involving land use and zoning, easement, title insurance, contractual, and commercial lease disputes, along with specific performance of purchase and sales agreements and condemnation actions for public entities.

Earth Movement
The Firm’s attorneys have extensive experience in land movement and subsidence litigation. We ‘ve handled disputes that grew out of localized land subsidence all the way to massive disasters.
